In order to ensure human safety, there is a leakage protector with a leakage current of 100-300mA in the sub-control box. A circuit breaker is installed inside the light pole, and a grounding electrode is made for each light pole. Some places require installing residual current protection devices for outdoor electrical facilities (including street lights). Besides, leakage protection devices with rainproof functions are also applied.
