Is it true that all white street lights are mercury vapor lights?

There are white and yellow street lights in our town. I want to know what the white ones are.

Not exactly. Mercury vapor lights emit white light, but there are also other types of street lights that are white. For example, fluorescent street lights are white, even though they are seldom used now. Some places also apply metal-halide street lights. But for now, the most possible answer is the LED street light. Because they outperform the other two types, many cities promote their use.
