- Standards of street lighting: Every country has its own standard for street lighting. Therefore, the lighting design should fulfill the requirements of these standards on lumens, illumination uniformity, etc.
- Light distribution design: There are many ways of light distribution, and among them, the secondary light distribution is considered the most effective.
- Heat dissipation design: High temperatures will reduce the lifespan of lights. So the heat sink must be designed reasonably in terms of shape, size, materials, etc.
