- Use a small and opaque container with lukewarm water.
- Then place the seeds in the container. While some seeds float, some don’t. There is a greater possibility of sprouting for seeds that sink. After the seed has been in the container for about an hour, it may just need a little prodding to sink to the bottom.
- Place something substantial over the container to ensure that no light enters.
- Put the container close to a warm place, such as the top of a refrigerator or water heater. You might also put it somewhere else if you have other areas that are always heated. Just ensure that it doesn’t become too hot.
- Now take a seat back and watch your seedlings grow. In a week to ten days, some sprouting ought to start. If not, be patient; some will sprout later than others.
