How to Adjust Seedlings from Outdoors to Indoors?

This year, I opted to start two trays of seedlings outside. Has anyone moved indoor plants to outdoors?

It is simple to bring them inside because artificial light is less likely to burn them than going from the inside to the outside.

The only restriction is that it must be carried out before they begin to go dormant. If you wait too long, the plants can be groggy because they’ve just gone to sleep. Give them 6–8 weeks of dormancy if they do go to bed before you get there, then put them under lights. However, if you bury them there before, say, mid-September, you ought to be alright.

Of course, for growers in the northern hemisphere, we should transition them before the autumnal equinox, though sooner is preferable.
