Ningbo, an important port city, is located in Zhejiang Province along the southeast coast of China. Recently, Ningbo celebrated International Children’s Day with a themed light show. Held from 19:00 to 22:00 on May 31st and June 1st, it deepened the concept of a “child-friendly” Ningbo. The show featured brilliant lights and shadows, presenting festive blessings, messages of hope, and images full of childlike fun.
The theme of this Children’s Day light show was “Happy June 1st, Love and Protection, Ningbo’s Future, and Joy with You.” At night, the buildings in the core area along the three rivers and six banks will display a rich array of images, depicting happy children, candies, hearts, musical notes, amusement parks, and a dreamy underwater world. Accompanied by familiar children’s songs, the entire city immersed in the joyful atmosphere of celebrating Children’s Day. Simultaneously, the tops of buildings displayed rolling text promoting the love and protection of minors, the full implementation of the Minor Protection Law, and the healthy growth of minors, demonstrating the city’s comprehensive concern for the well-being of minors.
Wuhan’s Light Show on Children’s Day
Wuhan, a city in Hubei Province known as the “Chicago of the East,” celebrated International Children’s Day with a special “June 1st” Yangtze River Light Show. Staged on the evenings of May 31st and June 1st, it offered a unique gift for the children.
With the sky as a screen, the river as a stage, and the city as a backdrop, the “June 1st” themed Yangtze River Light Show adorned the banks with dazzling colors. Qingdao, an important coastal center city in China and a seaside resort, is located in Shandong Province. This city illuminated Fushan Bay’s night sky with a “Marching Forward on a New Journey, United to Protect the Future” light show on May 31st evening. The “Light Up June 1st, Protect the Future Together” event, as a part of promotion month activities, has officially started as June 1st approaches.
