Should I Point Fans at My LED Grow Lights?

I wonder how necessary it is because I don't see many people mentioning that they point fans at their grow lights. My grow lights get pretty hot, which bothers me a little, and I've heard a fan boosts their effectiveness.

It really depends. Certainly, there is an issue if the room’s ambient temperature rises above approximately 31C due to the lighting. You generally want your grow room to be between 21 and 31C. In terms of airflow and fans, your ventilation system should aim to replenish and refresh the air in the room three times per minute. Usually, fans include a label that indicates the amount of air they can replace or move in a minute.

Take the volume of your grow room and multiply it by three to get the calculation. This is the formula to calculate it: (HxWxL) x 3 = Y, where Y is the quantity of air that your grow room should have flowing through it at any particular moment.
