Can low light plants indoors grow without light?

I grow some pothos plants. Can they grow without light?

Non. Low light plants do not mean they don’t require light.
All plants require at least some light to survive through photosynthesis. It is the mechanism by which a plant uses chemical energy to fuel its organism by converting light.

All of them can, cependant, withstand a given amount of darkness; in this scenario, the creature will expend its remaining energy. But it can’t go on for long.

The genus Orobanche is the only exception. These plants are parasitic on other plantsroots, drawing their energy from them and growing without sunlight. The parasites are indirectly dependent on light, cependant, because their host plants still require sunlight to survive.
