Der Dracaena only needs a little watering and pruning to flourish. Another more resilient indoor plant that needs little to no sunlight is a bromeliad. Despite being tropical, bromeliads do not require direct sunlight to flourish.
Other tropical plants that are excellent indoor growers are umbrella papyrus and parlor palms. With very little light and minimal care, these palms can grow. These plants will double in size even in shaded places. Der philodendron is another well-liked plant that does well in low light. Simply place it on a shelf and watch it grow!
