LED grow lights occasionally may not offer enough light intensity. This can be because you’re using a light fixture with improper wattage or your plant is too far from the light source. Follow the tips below to resolve this problem.
- Choose LED grow lights based on the level of intensity required by your plants.
- Make sure the fixture you buy has the appropriate PPFD rating and wattage.
- To increase the intensity of the light, try reducing the distance between the light and the plant. But while doing so, keep in mind the slight temperature factor. The fixtures shouldn’t be positioned too close so that the overheating destroys the plant.
