Is It Better to Choose Full Spectrum or Red and Blue Grow Lights?

What’s the difference between full spectrum and red/blue grow lights? Which one should I choose?

Red light is used to control a plant’s photoperiod, which impacts the flowering and fruit of the plant. Blue light primarily affects how leaves and plastids move, fosters the growth of stems and leaves, and to some extent prevents plants from blossoming and bearing fruit.

Por outro lado, full spectrum grow lights emit white light to mimic sunlight. The key is to select the spectrum that is best for your plants. Both of them have the function of supplementing light to encourage plant growth.

For flowering and fruiting crops and flowers that need to be colored, it is ideal to utilize red and blue lights, which can be colored, to encourage flowering and fruiting.

Full spectrum lights can be utilized for leafy crops. It is preferable to pick a full-spectrum light when growing plants indoors because the light from red and blue LEDs is pink, thus making people feel sick and dizzy if exposed to it for an extended period.
