When Should I Replace My LED Grow Lights?

My LED grow light has been used for 3 años. Should I change to another one?

The light output of LED grow lights decreases with age, particularly cheap LEDs. The luminaire that initially appeared to be a strong light now makes your plants yearn for additional photons. Your plants will notify you if this is the case by sending out signals like:

  • Dropping leaves
  • Cupping leaves upward
  • Branches and stems extending toward the light source
  • Smaller and paler new growth

It is absolutely time to change your LED grow lights if you notice any of these symptoms and you have had your lights for a few years. Don’t merely swap out your light fixtures for a similar model. A high-quality LED light should have a minimum lifespan of 50,000 horas.
