Cómo cuidar la fruta del dragón?

Nuevo en el crecimiento de la fruta del dragón. Quiero maximizar el rendimiento y la calidad.

Luz

Even though dragon fruit trees prefer warm climates and are frequently planted in direct sunshine, excessive sun exposure in arid or extremely hot areas might harm the stems of the plants. If the average temperature in your location is consistently close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, you should put your plants in an area with some partial shade. Similarmente, you should be aware that excessive shade might lead to less prolific fruit production and a lower-quality crop overall.

Soil

Their soil’s moistness, organic matter content, and good drainage are crucial. In order to help the soil retain moisture, we advise mulching the area surrounding the base of the plant, particularly in dry climates.

Agua

Though the dragon fruit plant is a cactus, it doesn’t mean you can neglect its watering needs. Even though dragon fruit cacti can withstand some drought, it’s still advisable to give them regular watering from the time they begin to bloom until you harvest your fruit crop. Por otro lado, numerous fungal diseases and root rot can also be brought on by overwatering.

Give the plant the necessary dry time throughout the winter and early spring to encourage abundant blooms.
