More light may or may not cause plants to grow higher.
The amount and direction of light that plants receive affect their growth. It also depends on the plant type. Take an oak tree for example, strong light from above will encourage it to grow higher. If the light is coming from the side, the seedling will lean toward that direction because that is where the light source comes from.
I don’t intent to buy a grow light. Are there other methods to promote plant growth?
