What is the temperature requirement of the SMD LED?

Is there any regulation for producing and running SMD LEDs?

For welding, the maximum withstand temperature of the PPA part of the LED lamp is about 260 degrees Celsius. So the welding temperature cannot exceed this temperature. At the same time, the welding time should be as short as possible to avoid PPA deformation and yellowing due to heat.

In terms of operating temperature, the higher the junction temperature of the LED chip, the lower the luminous efficiency. Generally, the junction temperature is required not to exceed 120 degrees Celsius. It is best to test the temperature after reaching thermal balance so as to avoid poor thermal conductivity. The higher the working temperature of LED lamp beads, the lower the luminous efficiency, the faster the attenuation, and the shorter the life span.
