Can I use thermal glues when the gap between the LED PCB and aluminum enclosure is large?

I often use thermal pastes to help the heat sink dissipate the heat of the LED. But this time, there is a large gap between the LED PCB and aluminum enclosure. Are there other materials or methods I can use?
  • Thermal-conductive epoxy is a good choice to fill the gap. Its thermal conductivity can be 0.72, which is 100 times that of air.
  • You can also use the thermal pads. Even though they are not as effective as the thermal pastes, they can help fill the gap.
